Melizza A. Gonzalez, Esq. is a first-generation American whose parents immigrated to the United States from Peru and Puerto Rico. Inspired by her family’s journey and commitment to opportunity, she has dedicated her career to serving diverse communities and expanding access to justice.
Melizza is the founder of Cano Gonzalez Law, LLC and a bilingual attorney licensed in South Carolina and Texas, focusing her practice on family law, fertility law, and immigration matters. She is proud to serve as a founding Board Member of the South Carolina Hispanic and Latino Bar Association, where she works to support and advance Hispanic and Latino legal professionals throughout the state.
